Dickies

The Dickies clothing brand has its roots in 1918, when C.N. Williamson and Colonel E.E. Dickie opened the "U.S. Overall Company" in Texas, a shop specializing in work overalls. In 1922, the Williamson family purchased shares of the company, creating the "Williamson Dickie Manufacturing Company".

The company's first major success came during World War II, when Dickies was chosen as the official supplier of uniforms to the US Army. This success pushed the company to diversify production, starting to manufacture different types of work clothing, also suitable for everyday use. Among the innovations introduced, the hidden seams to avoid tears became a distinctive element of the brand as did its iconic trousers launched in 1926 which, despite the passing of the years, have remained unchanged in design and quality of materials.
In the 1950s, the brand became the world leader in workwear, leading Dickies trousers and shirts to be considered legendary in the fashion world, both in the United States and internationally.

In recent years, Dickies has also arrived in Europe, where it distributes clothing collections for adults and children with a workwear style that combines well with graphic t-shirts, oversized sweatshirts and slim cut trousers, offering a mix of tradition and innovation.
