Emporio Armani

Giorgio Armani's strong entrepreneurial spirit led him to introduce his own brand dedicated to children in the early 1980s: Emporio Armani. The entrepreneur-designer was one of the first in the adult world to realise the potential of the children's fashion sector. According to an interview given by Armani himself, dressing children is both easy and difficult, as it is important to treat them as children, but knowing that they are attracted to the adult world and would therefore like to imitate it. The aim is, first of all, to create quality clothes, but beautiful, wearable and in line with the Armani world. And the Armani Junior collections perfectly meet these requirements.
Armani Junior: elegance and practicality for children
The strong entrepreneurial spirit of the king of fashion, Giorgio Armani, led him to introduce his own brand dedicated to children in the early eighties: Emporio Armani. The entrepreneur-designer, originally from Milan, was one of the first in the adult world to realise the potential of the children's fashion sector. According to an interview given by Armani himself, dressing children is both easy and difficult, as it is important to treat them as children, bearing in mind what their needs are, but knowing that they are attracted to the adult world and would therefore like to imitate it. The aim, therefore, is to create first and foremost quality garments that respect the highest Made in Italy standards but are beautiful, wearable and in line with the Armani world.

Since the beginning, the Armani Men's and Women's lines, and later the Emporio Armani collections, have always been synonymous with Italian style, elegance and wearability. That's why the challenge of the brand, and of its founder, has always been to dress people in real life, and not only on the catwalks, with clothes that are elegant and sophisticated, but always functional and practical. In fact, the emblem of King Giorgio's fashion is the deconstructed jacket: the women's jacket is modelled on the men's jacket, but without the entire internal support structure, created by modifying the epaulettes and moving the buttons, suitable for career women, now as then; and the men's suit, not too austere and rigorous, made with soft fabrics and shaded colours, also deconstructed.
As with adults, the Emporio Armani collections, dedicated to children from 0 to 16 years old, are characterised by simple and essential lines, classic but always up-to-date.
Armani Junior is one of the best known Italian brands in the world, thanks to its unique, distinctive and unmistakable features, such as essential lines, neutral and transversal colours and evergreen garments.

The distinctive features of the Emporio Armani collections
Armani is one of the most internationally renowned Italian brands, the one that is associated par excellence with Made in Italy and all the values that this concept expresses. The brand is recognised all over the world thanks to its unique and distinctive features and, first of all, thanks to its founder, the designer-entrepreneur par excellence, who gave life to a veritable empire that includes the most varied product sectors, from clothing to flowers, to hotels.
The first of the unequivocal traits is the clean, essential and simple lines, but never banal, of all the items in theEmporio Armani wardrobe.
The colours represent another distinctive style of the brand of the famous eagle: predominant are the greys, from pearl grey to dark grey; the blues, from royal blue to navy blue, black, white and Tibetan red: all these colours are inspired by the life and passions of Giorgio Armani, they are in some way basic, but always elegant and transversal, easy to combine with each other, without ever being out of place.
The strong point of the wardrobe, distinguished by the famous Emporio Armanieagle, is the shirt in white and light blue, in solid colours, or in micro-patterns, always in shades of blue and light blue, from the model with the classic collar to the one with the mandarin collar, in cotton or linen. There are also knitted waistcoats and cardigans, five-pocket cotton trousers and, above all, jeans with modern and comfortable lines, which since the 1980s have always been a key element of Emporio Armani fashion, an inclusive fashion, as the brand's name itself proclaims.
