Jacquemus launches its first Mini-me collection

2 minute read

Jacquemus, the French brand whose minimalist, contemporary yet elegant character has made it an 'it' brand for several years now, has launched its first MINI ME collection for kids.

Jacquemus Enfant

For Spring/Summer 2024, designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has created an entire Enfant collection, which reflects the brand's distinctive codes and is a departure in children's fashion, offering a range of items from 4 to 12 years old.

The collection remains true to the brand's aesthetic canon of minimalist design, relaxed silhouettes and asymmetric cuts. The iconic Jacquemus logo embellishes hoodies, T-shirts and cloches, all in vibrant shades of red, pink, brown and hazelnut.

Cargo pants, shorts, shirts and tops complete the range. One of Jacquemus' peculiarities is that it gives its own name to the pieces that make up the collection: the De Nîmes jacket, the Mejean shirt and the iconic Jacquemus sweatshirt.

A children's collection that combines comfort in each of its pieces, without sacrificing the style that is so characteristic of the French maison.

“My name is Simon Porte Jacquemus.
I like blue and white, stripes, sun, fruit, life,
poetry, Marseille and the 80s”

Jacquemus - IT brand of the moment

The Instagram biography of the brand page, as well as the designer's personal page, encapsulate all the aesthetics and success of the IT brand of the moment.

But why is Jacquemus one of the most successful brands of recent years?

There are many reasons, but they are all connected. First of all, the young French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus communicates the idea of a luxury brand that is both trendy and accessible through hyper-personal communication, from social media to entire marketing campaigns. He does not propose simple products, but rather an idea of lifestyle through the representation of a well-defined aesthetic based on immediacy, spontaneity and the exaltation of beauty and slow life, as in Provence, the designer's home. In addition, the convergence between corporate and personal social profiles, between brand and individual, creates a strong human connection with followers and potential customers.

The result is super-contemporary, minimal and fresh collections, presented through fashion shows and communication codes that are as eclectic as they are immediate and studied. Collections that become objects of desire, not only as products, individual pieces to wear, but as vehicles of a real way of life.
