Converse

In 1908, Marquis Mills Converse founded the Converse Rubber Company in Malden, Massachusetts. The company began as a manufacturer of canvas sneakers. Over the years, Converse shoes became increasingly popular among athletes, especially in the world of basketball. In fact, it was Chuck Taylor who decreed the success of the brand's most famous shoe, which now bears his name. The company is now part of the same group as Nike and also produces casual clothing for adults and children. For more than 50 years the brand has continued to explore its particular reworking of archive military garments, workwear and sportswear, combining them with an intense search for innovation in Italian fabrics.
